Danse of the Dead Reviewed on CDbaby.com by Mark Charlesworth (Twisted Strings):

A journey through time and space...

"For those who've grown tired of trudging through local bands attempting to replicate an 'indie' sound that died 10 years ago, Danse of the Dead are a musical wake up call. Their refreshing hybrid of goth / folk music is an original and pioneering idea, and combined with their lyrical knack of telling a great twisted tale, makes for exceptionally good listening! The collective musicianship excells, from a group who clearly has a variety of influences and backgrounds, but which works to achieve a common ideal. Drawing comparisons with any of their peers would be to do an injustice as this is a compellingly inventive sound in its own right, and serves to be judged on its own merits. Listen to standout tracks 'Show Me Love' (sample available at www.myspace.com/danseofthedeaddotd), 'Blessed Be' and the incredible 'Devil's Daughter', and you'll have some idea what I'm talking about: a reassuring testimony that great music still exhists! 5/5"
